Simplicity Adds Two New Mowers to Its Homeowner Zero-Turn Offerings
Port Washington, Wis., (September 24, 2004) — Simplicity Manufacturing, Inc., is continuing to add new products to its industry-leading line of zero turn mowers built for homeowner use. New for 2004 will be a 21-hp model with 48" mower deck and a 23-hp model with a 52" deck. Both will feature Briggs & Stratton Vanguard™ engines and IS® Independent Suspension.
Highlights of these new models include:

- Fabricated mowers with full rollers
- Rear IS® Independent Suspension
- All new, contemporary styling
New rear IS Independent Suspension will provide better overall performance and enhance the durability of the 11-gauge tubular frame/chassis. Other benefits provided by this innovative suspension system include improved comfort, increased traction and a better consistency of cut.
The 48" and 52" mower decks are fabricated from 10-gauge steel, offer full-width rollers and a 1.75" to 5.0" foot-operated height-of-cut adjustment. By combining these mower decks with 22" Turf Tread drive tires, homeowners can be assured the new unit will leave behind a nicely manicured lawn.
Headlights, a 6.5-gallon fuel tank and a high-back seat with armrests are standard on both new units. Available accessories include commercial collection systems, a mulching kit and/or ROPS.

The new 21-hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard with 48" mower deck has a suggested retail price of $5195. Suggested retail for the 23-hp model with 52" deck is $5895. Both units offer a two-year warranty to homeowners, churches, school and municipalities.
